A conversation
with your body.

This is hands-on bodywork drawing on 25 years of practice across Thai Massage, partner acrobatics, and somatic movement. One session, one integrated practice — the work meets the body in front of it rather than following a fixed routine.

A session moves between deep, grounded Thai work on the mat — compression, traction, assisted stretch — and therapeutic flying, where the body is supported and decompressed in the air. Where it serves you, the two flow into one another.

It is not passive, and it is not a relaxing massage in the usual sense. The work is strong, precise, and listening — leaning into the places that hold, and softening them from the inside so the whole body can find more space and ease.

01 Thai Massage
Deep, rhythmic work on the mat — compression, palming, and assisted stretch along the body's lines. Firm, grounded, and methodical: pressure that opens rather than soothes.
02 Therapeutic Flying
Supported in the air, the spine and limbs are decompressed and traction is applied in ways the body cannot find on its own. A profound sense of release and trust.
03 Space & Traction
Length restored through the spine, hips, and shoulders — recovering range that everyday holding patterns quietly take away.
04 Breath & Release
Pressure met by breath. The work settles the nervous system as it goes, so the body releases willingly rather than being forced.
05 The Intelligent Edge
Working right at the productive edge — strong enough to change something, never careless. Gears available to go deeper, always read from your body's response.
06 Whole-Body Connection
A felt sense of how one part links to another — releasing a hip and feeling the shoulder answer. The body addressed as a whole, not a set of parts.

The work softens in the tough places to find greater ease — accessing the yin in the yang, and the yang in the yin.

For those who want
to be met,
not merely soothed.

People carrying long-held tension, restriction, or old injury patterns who want work that actually reaches them
Movers, practitioners, and athletes who know their bodies well and want depth rather than a light touch
Anyone curious about Thai Massage or therapeutic flying who would rather be worked with at home than on a clinic table
Those who have found conventional massage pleasant but ultimately surface-level, and want something more considered
People who understand that release often lives on the far side of a little honest discomfort

Sessions take place in your own home, on a mat — there's no need for a treatment table. A small travel contribution may apply for visits beyond the immediate area; I'll always agree everything clearly with you before your first session.

Home visits
across the
local corridor.

Sessions are offered as home visits across the Tring to Watford corridor and the surrounding towns and villages — out toward Berkhamsted, Hemel Hempstead, Aylesbury, and the lanes between.

Travel further afield is possible by arrangement, depending on timing — particularly for block bookings, where a longer journey makes good sense for both of us.

Not sure whether you're within reach? Just ask. The simplest thing is to tell me roughly where you are when you enquire, and I'll let you know.

Years of embodied practice

This work began in 1999 with a severe break of tibia and fibula — and a direct encounter with what it means to lose, and slowly recover, the most basic relationship with your own body. What followed was a 25-year inquiry that has never stopped.

The hands-on side of that inquiry runs deep. Jesse studied Thai Massage with Pichest Boonthumme, Asokananda, and Kira Balaskas, and trained in partner acrobatics and therapeutic flying with some of the practice's foundational teachers. The two strands — pressure on the ground and decompression in the air — became one body of work.

Jesse is the founder of The Felt Body, a named, teachable system synthesising a lifetime of practice across yoga, Thai Massage, AcroYoga, and somatic movement. He brings genuine expertise, unhurried attention, and a deep respect for each body he works with.
